The Autumn Leaves Festival has been cancelled in 2020, but the garden will be open at night.

Tokugawaen Garden is the widely renowned Japanese garden with pond and spring in a location close to downtown Nagoya. From mid-November, the garden's 300-ish momiji maples (Acer) and nishikigi winged spindles (Euonymus alatus) become vividly colored, deepening the feeling of autumn on the premises. To coincide with this, the garden is open extended evening hours with artificial illumination, so guest are able to enjoy wholly different sights from the daytime garden.
