A tough and rigorous run through the mountains of Okumikawa

The Okumikawa Power Trail is an authentic intermediate trail-running competition where participants and spectators can experience the majestic nature of Okumikawa, the easternmost region of Aichi Prefecture. Runners start at Aichi's tallest mountain Mt. Chausu, run approximately 70 kilometers through mountainous terrain, from Horaiji Temple until the finish line in the Kadoya area, running a cumulative elevation gain of 4,000 meters.

• Nighttime parking available. Please note that users may not enter or exit the parking lot from 8:00 pm on the day before the competition to 2:30 am on the day of the competition due to safety concerns.
• You may be directed to a different parking lot as the grounds within Fureai Park Horai become inaccessible during rainy weather.

    • Approx. 10 min. from Shinshiro Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway.

    Notes:
    • Parking at the designated parking lot (Fureai Park Horai) and taking the shuttle bus (fee and prior application required) to the starting line is recommended.
    • Arriving in your own car or being dropped off by family or friends is also possible. However, since the roads in the area will be used as part of the course, please give yourself plenty of time as there will be traffic restrictions around the beginning of the competition.
