Futaba Museum: Filled with Taisho-era romanticism

The town of Shumoku in Nagoya City is home to a mansion full of the flavors of Taisho-era Japan with its quaint orange, Western-style roof. Futaba Museum was created from this mansion after its relocation and renovation in 2005. The Hall is painted in beautiful shadows by stained glass, and the Japanese rooms offer a traditional taste of the East. This mansion was originally the residence of Sadayakko Kawakami, known as Japan's first actress, and Momosuke Fukuzawa, Japan's king of electricity, where they lived from the Taisho period to the Showa period.
