The Winter Tanabata Carnival is the city of Ichinomiya's feature winter event and intertwines seamlessly with the Ichinomiya Daidai Festival Gathering for Halloween in fall and the preceding Ichinomiya Tanabata Star Festival in summer. The streets around JR Owari-Ichinomiya Station and Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station are illuminated by dazzling lights and decorations, shining clear and bright during the city's winter nights.
