A shrine that tells the present about the Inuyama legend of Momotaro.

Momotaro is a fairy tale all Japanese people have had read to them at one time or another when a child. Momotaro Jinja Shrine is connected with the Inuyama City legend of Momotaro, and besides its peach-shaped torii (a rarity in Japan - "momo" means "peach" in Japanese), there is also a washing rock supposedly used by the old woman in the legend, concrete statues recreating the legend and more.
