One of Japan’s biggest and best aquariums is the exciting Port Of Nagoya Public Aquarium at Nagoya Port. Home to Orca killer whales, dolphins and Beluga Whales, and featuring marine life from Japan to Antarctica, is laid out in two main pavilions, the North and South Buildings.

    5 min. southwestwards walk from Exit 3 of Nagoyako Station of the subway Meiko Line (either board the Meiko Line from Kanayama Station, or board the Meijo Line train bound for Nagoyako from Sakae Station, which in turn is reachable from Nagoya Station by subway Higashiyama Line bound for Fujigaoka).

    ·From Komei I.C. of the Nagoya Expressway R4 Tokai Route:
    --Follow Egawa Route southwards for approx. 2km.
    ·From Meiko-chuo I.C. of the Isewangan Expressway:
    --Turn left upon exiting and follow and head northwards by the Kinjo Futo Route for 6.8km (14 min). Turn right at Tsukijiguchi intersection and head southwards for 750m.
    · From Odaka I.C. of the Chitahanto Road:
    --Head northwards by Route 23 (a.k.a. Meishi, or Meyon Route) towards Yokkaichi for 6.8km (10 min.) and exit Tsukijiguchi IC. After 300 m, turn left and after 100m turn left again. Head southwards 750m.
